Purchasing

All items are available in our Toronto showroom or through our online catalog. Custom production lighting is always available in a range of different finishes. Our inventory of restored antique lighting is ever changing. We encourage you to e-mail (tocl@surenet.net) or call us ( Customer Service 1-888-527-1825) with any inquiries you might have regarding lighting fixtures or anything you have seen on our site.

Showroom Orders

By visiting our showroom, clients have the opportunity to view our entire inventory in person. We are renowned for our exceptional workmanship, finishes and restorations. Courteous and knowledgeable staff, are on hand to guide you through the showroom and can help you determine appropriate fixture options and measurements.

Choosing the right fixture is an important decision. This is why we offer an approval policy (some exclusions) which allows you to take a fixture home on a trial basis. This is a valuable opportunity for clients to confirm that the style, finish and lighting requirements are appropriate. (Please note that the approval policy is valid only before the sale is finalized)

Long Distance Orders

When you are interested in ordering and a trip to Toronto is not an option, we take the time to build a long distance professional relationship.

If you are interested in learning more about our product or would like a shipping and packing quotation, please provide us with the following information:

1. Name
2. Questions
3. Fixture product number (located at the top left hand corner and reads ac0001ab , pc0087bw etc.)
4. Shipping Address (for packing and shipping quotes)

We do our best to respond within 3 business days but keep in mind that this can vary depending on the information and specifications of the inquiry.

Long distance approvals are available on an individual basis with exceptions. Please contact us to learn more.


Shipping

We ship worldwide through trusted carriers such as UPS, Canada Post, Purolator Courier and Greyhound Courier Express. Depending on the size and destination of the goods we also employ licensed and bonded private carriers for larger or delicate shipments.

Shipping costs are based on:
- Size (measurements and weight)
- Destination
- Service and mode of transport
- Insurable value of the goods.

For international orders, buyers are responsible for all brokerage, duties and additional provincial/state and federal taxes. These are separate charges that will not appear on your invoice.

Packing

All items are professionally packaged on premises and meet with carrier standards. We have packaged hundreds of goods that have been shipped around the world. Our standards are high and we inspect every package before it leaves our showroom.


Payment

All prices on the website are in Canadian Dollars before applicable taxes and shipping/packing costs. For orders to the U.S.A, we are equipped to accept US funds and will obtain an exchange rate quote at the time of sale. Please be aware that currency rates will fluctuate.

All outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to goods being released.


Sales Tax, Duty and Brokerage

Purchasers are responsible for any provincial or state taxes, brokerage and or duty charges incurred when items are shipped. Items shipped in Ontario are subject to PST and GST. Items shipped within Canada are subject to GST. Local taxes are the buyer's responsibility.

Items shipped to the United States are PST and GST exempt yet subject to applicable federal and state taxes.
